A little cheese with that whine

Hey guys.  Home from the hospital.  Thank you all for your well wishes.  They've not really gotten to the bottom of what is triggering the influx of bad antibody production.  The current theory is that I have mild emphysema from years of smoking when I was younger and that the extra stress causes me to breath too much overtaxing my diaphragm and chest muscles.
The good news is plasmapharesis works really well for me, but I now worry about the next time I have to go into the hospital.  I had 3 treatments.  I haven't shared my babies lately.  They are growing.  Grayson is wearing his Halloween costume I bought him.  Unfortunately he wants everyone to make him fly as it is a dragon costume.  Reesybug is just being Rees.  Smiley and happy except when she's hungry.  LOL

So thankful you are home Debbie! I was so worried about you!
Fyi...They never got to the bottom of the cause for my crisis either. I am still making antibodies like crazy and still requiring weekly out patient Plex.

Did I read where you are going back to IVIG? Are you in the same boat as I am...a long drive to receive plex? They are talking about me getting 2 vortex ports (like Annette\'s) that would work with IVIG or Plex. My veins are shot.

Grayson\'s costume is adorable!!! He is growing like a weed. Thank you for letting us be with you as he and Rees grow. She is a cutie patootie! I can only imagine how you have missed them.

Rest and stay out of the hospital:-)

Debbie I am so glad you are home and with new news of why you were having so much trouble. I am hopeful knowing this will point to new ways to keep you out of the hospital!

Halloween was always my favortie holiday with our children and I can see you are getting right into the spirit with your grandbabies! They are awesomely cute in their costume and in the picture together.

Will send lots of positive thoughts for a good recovery. Please go easy these first few weeks. It took me a good week to recover from mine and we need that added time for our bodies to adjust. Hugs, Marie
