A LITTLE BETTER

First of all, thank you to all you wonderful people who put up with my sorry self!  Don't know how I would do this without you!  Yesterday was the 11 month anniversary of Scott's death.  I have been having such INTENSE emotions!  I kept very busy this weekend.  For a change it was a nice one....no rain and warm!  Yesterday I created a little vegetable garden.  I lined bricks around it.  My father-in-law had some extra bricks.  I called and asked him if I could use some.  He told me if I took one I had to take them all.  Okay...the pile didn't look very big.  Over 100 I loaded into my poor van!  Then, I unloaded them.  Then I created my space.  Then I planted my now dying tomato plants. (I have had them 2 wks.)  By 4 p.m. I could barely walk!  My legs hurt, my back hurts, my butt even hurts! And, my garden is crooked!  So, instead of a Secret Garden, I have a Crooked Garden.  But, it is mine!  Today I decided we would set up the swimming pool.  OUCH!  The legs, the back, the butt.... It is 10:36 p.m. and I am getting ready to go shut the water off.  It is nearly full now.  The company that calls their pool Easy Set...lies!  And, we sprung 3 leaks that I know of.  I took a long shower and I am still peeling the Goop Glue off.  They do not lie....it is waterproof!  Along with putting the pool up I decided to finish planting.  It is a small garden.  One would not think it would be so painful.  I planted lettuce, radishes, cucumbers, canteloupe, and watermelon.  I am sure it will be very tasty when the time comes but tonight I hurt!  Adam will turn 21 this Thursday!  It scares me!  I guess we will go out for a bit.  We are having a home party for him next Sunday.  Sadly, his girlfriend, Melissa, is in the hospital again.  I am sure she will not be home by then.  Only 9 more actual school days to work left!  I am SO ready for school to be out.  Time to shut the water off.....

Oh my gosh did you over do it or what? 100 bricks? Amazing, and amazing that you accomplished so much - bet you slept good last night. I hope you\'re not too sore today - want me to send you my tube of Icy Hot? Nice that you\'re able to garden, we can\'t here in the condos - but that\'s ok - I don\'t have much of green thumb anyway - but I love home grown veggies & fruits. Hope you have a good week - and the countdown is on for your Summer break. I\'ll keep Melissa in my prayers - and you as well.
Take care honey, love & hugs -

You are one busy little beaver. I\'m sure your crooked garden will be beautiful. It was made with sweat, tears and a lot of tired muscles. Take care and don\'t over do it. I\'m glad your on the home stretch with school. The break will be nice I\'m sure. Love Robin
