A LITTLE BETTER

First of all, thank you to all you wonderful people who put up with my sorry self!  Don't know how I would do this without you!  Yesterday was the 11 month anniversary of Scott's death.  I have been having such INTENSE emotions!  I kept very busy this weekend.  For a change it was a nice one....no rain and warm!  Yesterday I created a little vegetable garden.  I lined bricks around it.  My father-in-law had some extra bricks.  I called and asked him if I could use some.  He told me if I took one I had to take them all.  Okay...the pile didn't look very big.  Over 100 I loaded into my poor van!  Then, I unloaded them.  Then I created my space.  Then I planted my now dying tomato plants. (I have had them 2 wks.)  By 4 p.m. I could barely walk!  My legs hurt, my back hurts, my butt even hurts! And, my garden is crooked!  So, instead of a Secret Garden, I have a Crooked Garden.  But, it is mine!  Today I decided we would set up the swimming pool.  OUCH!  The legs, the back, the butt.... It is 10:36 p.m. and I am getting ready to go shut the water off.  It is nearly full now.  The company that calls their pool Easy Set...lies!  And, we sprung 3 leaks that I know of.  I took a long shower and I am still peeling the Goop Glue off.  They do not lie....it is waterproof!  Along with putting the pool up I decided to finish planting.  It is a small garden.  One would not think it would be so painful.  I planted lettuce, radishes, cucumbers, canteloupe, and watermelon.  I am sure it will be very tasty when the time comes but tonight I hurt!  Adam will turn 21 this Thursday!  It scares me!  I guess we will go out for a bit.  We are having a home party for him next Sunday.  Sadly, his girlfriend, Melissa, is in the hospital again.  I am sure she will not be home by then.  Only 9 more actual school days to work left!  I am SO ready for school to be out.  Time to shut the water off.....
