a little anxious

I have to go to the doctor today. I actually have to leave pretty soon. I don't know why but it's making me anxious today. Normally I'm fine with going but I guess I'm a little worried about how he thinks I'm doing on the new dosage of the Cymbalta. Last we spoke he said he was unhappy with the progress I wasn't making and that he wanted to see me out of bed and back to work. That's when he increased my dose. So I'm out of bed, but not back to work yet, which is probably why I'm anxious. Like he's going to judge me or if I'm not better enough to go back to work yet, that he has to do something more drastic. I've just been getting used to the Cymbalta without side effects, so I really don't want to have to change medications again. I do think I'm doing somewhat better now on the higher dose, so we'll see. Writing it out here, it makes sense why I'm anxious about going to see him. I think I'm being irrational. He's here to help me, not make me more anxious. I think he would laugh if I told him his impending appointment was making me nervous. Of all things, it shouldn't add to my anxiety.
On the plus side, while it's not going for a walk by myself, I will have to get to the doctor by myself. That's leaving the house on my own, so that counts as progress, doesn't it?
