I know we’ve all gotta serve someone in work and life and perhaps seeing this tells me how I’ve been behaving... finding points of resistance no matter where I go. Thinking that everyone else has peace and has it good..I'm sensing I undermine things maybe , fighting the power and I think that it is the schizophrenic qualities perhaps. I think the fact that I see
we all gotta serve someone, somebody and then we all gotta relish the time we have outside of that experience... in other words when we get free time. Some of us seek more structured fun - like i have - Or like this religious life i have. I know I’ve resisted the elder and my father and I understand we all gotta deal with the boss we report to and it’s not unique experience to me, today I felt the reality of the boss I have here and deciding to - in the face of that reality - stil pray for what I want.
I feel a little soul sucked but I’m remembering the song by James Taylor and specifically ‘ call out my name'… where he sings 'they’ll steal your soul if you let them but don't you let them!" :) Happy New Year guys! Here's a candle where I am praying for what I want in the coming year - well knowing the bosses I have in my life :)

As for schizophrenia, and mental health conditions, your professional team are the advisors there and I cannot give you medical advice. You seem to be aware of behavior patterns so that is effective management of living with a condition- you know when to reach out. I also hope that you have trusted friends you can call upon? You often express situational family or environmental issues that make you uncomfortable….. and I hope that you don’t encounter isolation where you are at now?
In any case, thinking of you my friend. I am home organizing, paying bills and writing this new years eve - just being responsible. Hugs.

You'll either want to commit to your faith or not sweetie
It is a huge step
I have no doubt there is a lot of wonderful things that come with your commitment however there is also a cost
If it was me I would continue to pray on it and like your doing take some time to do what you believe is the right thing for you
Perhaps discuss with leaders their feelings and longings they may have had ..How have they coped and dealt with them
I do believe your disorder causes extra struggle sweetie and I'm sorry that it does
I'm glad that you have a good therapist that you trust ad pdoc
You are a wonderful. Kind soul that deserves all that is good my friend
There are Christian faith leaders that can also have partners and lives outside their faith
I wrote outside their faith and I meant along with it
My friend Muji is a minister and had a marriage and then another partner
He enjoys social events both in his church and outside of it as an example
