A Happy Halloween
Well, Halloween is over by a few minutes now. I just put a couple more logs on the fire, and the wife is sitting on the Sofa in my flannel shirt watching a chick flick. It is a good end to a good day, and gives me hope for the future. I know now that I am not trapped. I am in my marriage because I want to be here, and should that change, and the hurt be permanent, I can move on and make myself happy. Thanks to my friends here for showing me that. I am a strong man, a devoted husband, and a hard worker. I have given my wife a beautiful home, and a reasonably good life. This is not my fault. The wife wanted to go buy some fabric today for a quilt she is making. I decided to ride along as she promised me dinner, and agreed to go to whatever store I wanted. Big mistake for her :) I went to the Toyota store :D My dad recently was in a bad accident and totaled his Ford Ranger. I have a Silverado that is the same year and same mileage, so I figured I would sell it to him on the cheap (he didn't want a car payment) and get myself something new. Man, those new Tundras are nice... Money doesn't buy happiness, but maybe it is time that I do something for myself.
