A Guide to Our House

My dearest Kitty,                An introduction to the girls in my house that I know well:                       Hannah and I share a room. She's popular and very nice most of the time. We don't talk much when we're in a room together, but we get on fine. She's very good at Art and is very funny.                       Claire is quite possibly the most popular person in our year. She seems to know everyone in all the years, not just ours. She's very clever, but everyone seems to be a little ticked off with her at the moment.                        Izzie is one of two Izzies in our year in our house. She's very nice, very individual and gets on well with everyone. She's also really clever. Everyone likes her. She's like Hannah - amazing at Art.                        Daisy is also very, very popular. She's really friendly, though, and very confident. She's amazing at music - especially singing - and is really great at giving out advice. She's always cheerful.                        Cathy is rather irritating sometimes. She's ridiculously clever and can be a bit stuck up. But she can be very nice sometimes; everyone accepts her, but they all find her a little annoying. I don't mind her, but she is a bit mean occasionally.                         Izzy is the second Izzy in our year (I'm using a different spelling so you don't get confused) She's very good at Art as well. She can be patronising but also very funny. She and Maddy are practically inseparable.                          Bryony is ever so slightly insane, but in the nicest possible way. She can be both very immature and very reasonable at the same time, which is slightly confusing sometimes. She likes mud sliding and lives in a lighthouse, which is really cool.                          Maddy is musical and very, very funny. She's a bit like a female version of Tom. She's slightly patronising sometimes and is always ready to do something mad, like stick pictures of things all over your desk for when you get back from field weekend or have a snowball fight with cotton wool. She's a really nice person.                           Rosie is quite quiet sometimes and very loud at others. She likes cooking and tennis. She can be funny and also sensible. There isn't much else you can say about Rosie.                           Tora likes pink so much it isn't funny. She's very nice, but can be very childish sometimes. The rest of the time, she's very mature and quite maternal. She's always been very nice to me. She keeps sea monkeys with Amy.                           Amy and Tora get on like a house on fire. I shared a room with her last term and we had heaps of fun together. She's a really terrific person who can be completely mad sometimes, but she's always really nice.                 That's the last of us in our year.                           Katie is in fourth form and I love her to bits. She's a really great person who's hilarious and fantastic fun when she's hyper. Some of my best memories are from being with her in the library. She's very individual and always nice, except when she's scary. She says what she thinks.                           Georgie's in third form, and a really nice person. She's very funny and also slightly intimidating. She's great fun. We have lots of fun in the library with Katie. I've come to respect her a great deal since the beginning of the year.   That's all the people that I get on with really well. So now, Kitty, when I mention them, you'll know who I mean!I'll do a proper entry later.Bis bald!     Yours,           Francesca
