a good night wish
when driving home from work today - I started to feel anxious and a 'crazy mess' inside
(like I've talked about, when I drive home from work)
-and then I stood back (metaphorically while driving) and asked 'why?'
I finally figured that I needed to adjust my perspective to doing the job at hand
and that I was probably already so exhausted and hungry and thirsty that 'my upset'
was probably a kind of impatience and maybe irritability with the task ahead of me.
I adjusted to that reality and was able to see the job ahead - and I did it -
I started to relax as I drove after that
--
now it's bed time and my mind has gone to details of the day where I found myself
on edge again...I was struggling with this for a while laying there trying to sleep.
I finally asked myself 'why?' again - and think it's because I am alone and I need to validate
my feelings and it's a transition to go into sleep mode and it would be nice to say good night to someone and
share that but ....
now that I've asked 'why?' and have the answer - I can adjust to that reality
and go to sleep - and write this letter in a bottle to you guys!
Have a good night's rest!! BIG HUG XOXOXOX

That ends my day~~
Thanks Mary Louise!
Yes, Bella gets good night snuggles. I think everyone wishes for those things to a certain extent. It takes work to get to those places and it takes work to be alone. Everything is work work work.
I think it’s important to let yourself have some time off though and to be able to sit and relax. And just be. Sending hugs Marko!
Thanks Nikki! Good ideas/reminders!
I hope that you had a good sleep sweetie... It's great that you can break things down in order to help you to relax... Big squishy hug....xo
