a good morning
Well sort of…
First thing as I woke up, I was undermined by my mind and I just grrrr got on with the day..
I took a ride into work, not because I have work today but because I accidentally took a set of work keys home.
I got a coffee at the Starbucks and a trans barista
made my coffee. I just mention she was trans because it started me thinking about diversity. How she took care of her job and self with a lot of humor and getting on with the work. How I was too comparatively.
I drove home to attend the second half of service and I started to think about myself. My flaws and how I take care of life and my person.
I think that’s important. I thought about all the different neurologies, or different people, out there. I thought about how they have to take care of themselves for who they are. Not for some iconography for who they should be. I thought about third world countries and the power and limits of education and the will for, or not, capitalism like my Doc had once mentioned as well as the will for survival.
I have my own weaknesses but I am surviving the best I can though sometimes my system does things like it did this morning, so I need to take care and keep aware that there’s no shame in taking care of myself in a way that’s right for me but indeed it’s a smart thing. That I do ultimately take care is a sign of health and strength.
Peace ☮️

Sending prayers out that we all have a good day
You were doing some deep thinking this morn Mark
And God loves all of us
It's nice you're still enjoying your Starbucks!!
Thanks Jan!
a recurring theme i have noted in myself and among my recovery peers is how often the "weaknesses" we beat ourselves up for turn out to be our greatest, strictly personal strengths carried to destructive extremes. balance in all things, grasshopper. god don't make trash.
there is nothing in life either good nor bad. 'tis the thinking which makes them so. ~shakespeare
Thanks Arfie
