A Good Feeling
It's been nearly two years of coming home to an empty house. Then a few days ago my step-daughter and family asked to stay over a few nights. What a difference. It feels good to come home and know that there is someone home. It feels good to know that if I don't come home someone will notice. It feels good to come home and say hello to someone other than the bird. It just feels good.

Good to hear! My son agreed to stay at home with me this first winter...but will more than likely be moving out in the spring. I am sure it will be hard having an empty house...my husband was kind of a \"homebody\" and was always there.
I am so happy for you. It does make such a difference to have someone else in the house. You can almost function normally!! I have had a few family members stay over the weekend when they were in town and I actually used my living room and had the TV on!!!
When my friend came from Texas two weeks ago was to spend a night but stayed three nights it felt good to have another person in the house, a face to talk to, and just be there....
That\'s some good news. Glad you had some peace with company. My daughter comes for a night or two sometimes, it\'s just the clean up after, I hate.
