A good dinner party

Tonight I had dinner with Father Vladimir and his wife Matushka Anna, hosted by Ioana (who is a pediatrician in Georgetown and is a huge friend of St. Nina’s.) Father Vladimir and Anna were amazing. Anna (who is Russian) called me , 'Batyushka' which means ‘little father’ in Russian, since Father Vladimir is older and senior to me. Father Vladimir was so encouraging as Easter is coming up. I will be serving behind altar and Father Vladimir said 'you have the joy of God in your eyes...share that with people!'
