A good Day

Today was a good day - though I thought about gambling, I didn't act upon my thoughts.  I actually went and exercised, which is a goal of mine; to get in better shape and not turn to food to relieve the stresses.  Life is good!

Deja vu... couldn\'t stay away today; went with a friend... had terrible luck for a while but then it turned around. Still lost some $$ overall. The biggest thing I noticed in trying out the waters again (stupidly) is that I now feel depressed, even though I enjoyed playing at the end when things were going very well, but I have sort of a dead feeling about it all now... maybe this was meant to happen again to finally drill it into my head that I DON\'T need to go there. The money I left there is not life changing, but still it\'s unnecessary. I am doing a lot of soul searching right now; I realize I really AM happier when I don\'t gamble at all. Why does it take time and time and time after time to realize those things again?
Who knows - I\'m convinced analyzing the whys and even coming up with answers doesn\'t solve this crazy addiction. The only thing I can do about it is stay away from it! Sadly, that\'s the truth. Glad I got my thoughts out; feel a little less stressed. Life goes on to tomorrow - GF - one day at a time.
