A day early green smiley
It has been a good weekend. My dear friend and her husband came here yesterday and left today. We had our neighbors over last evening as well - we laughed and ate and drank some red wine.
Today, after Marie and Roy left, we went to participate in a community event People brought their 'junk' and traded a lot for other people's stuff. What was not taken we tossed in to a city garbage truck. It was squashed and hauled away. I am enjoying our sense of community now. After we finished work, we went to another neighbor's for munchies and more red wine.
It was great because Joe (my husband) is very quiet but also very intelligent. Jack, our neighbor and Joe are both great debaters so it was fun listening to them spar. The really great thing is that they often disagree but don't get upset and hold a grudge. They can enjoy a good laugh together. It was just what Joe needed.
I am packed and ready to go to work for the week so won't be on FMO for a few days.
