a day at work and time at home...

work went ok today, well...enough.

I came home and totally hit a brick wall of exhaustion and had no ideas as to

how to contribute to a project I am working on for a friend. I kept to it - kept at it

and that's my consolation that I sat here and tried for the two hours I had planned for it.

Afterward though I wanted to go out but I have a 'fix-it' man coming over soon to take

care of an issue here at the apartment.

I cleaned up after Blue and then had a bowl of granola and then sat in front of the TV.

I'm watching a documentary on PBS "The American Experience: The Roosevelts."

It's super good. I really like documentaries like this... It's informative and interesting

but also satisfies that urge in me to have something thoughtful and rational in my life.

I seriously felt so tossed to the wind and like my world had no center or significance

and then I turned on PBS and the documentary that was on calmed me down and 'brought me back'

so to speak. I wish I could make my work about something like this...and I get a similar sense

of gravitas when I go to the monastery in Maryland. Just calming, routine and so on.

I guess that's something to think about.

This kind of show is what I like, and I seek them out.

I like the international news channels as well.

Calming, informative, centered, rational, fair and balanced, and diverse.

Ok I need to get crazy a bit!haha jk.

I hope you guys are having a good day!

Sending peace!

Mark

Documentaries are good. I recently enjoyed the Miles Davis Birth of Cool on either Netflix or Hulu.
