A CHILLY ONE..BR....
ISN’T THIS A GORGEOUS PICTURE OF FALL IN ALL IT’S SPLENDOUR. THE TEMPERATURE HERE THIS A.M. IS -2C/28F. WE FINALLY PUT ON THE OIL FURNANCE TO TAKE OFF THE CHILL. LATELY, WE HAVE JUST PUT ON THE PROPANE FIREPLACE IN THE REC ROOM, WHICH IS VIRTUALLY WHERE WE LIVE, WE JUST GIVE IT A LITTLE JOLT EVERY NOW AND THEN. I HATE TO THINK OF THE FUEL COST THIS WINTER WITH THE PRICE OF OIL!! GUESS WE WILL HAVE TO SUCCUMB TO WEARING SWEATERS. NEXT YEAR WE ARE GOING TO INSTALL A TOP OF THE LINE PELLET STOVE IN OUR LIVINGROOM. AND BECAUSE OF THE OPEN CONCEPT THE HEAT WILL TRAVEL OUT INTO THE HALL, THE BATHROOM AND UPSTAIRS. WE WOULD PROBABLY HAVE DONE IT THIS YEAR BUT WE HAD THE HOUSE FOR SALE AND DID NOT WANT TO SPEND ANYMORE MONEY ON IT, NOW WE CANNOT BUY, BEG OR BORROW ONE ANYWHERE IN THE PROVINCE. I HAVE CHECKED EBAY AND HAVE FOUND SOME BUT RIGHT NOW WE HAVE OTHER EXPENSES. AS YOU KNOW MY CRUISE IS COMING UP FAST... LEAVE NEXT SAT. AT 8:00A.M ON THE BUS TO BOSTON, CRUISE IS THE NEXT DAY. I HAVE BEEN TRYING ON CLOTHES, WASHING, MAKING LISTS, GATHERING STUFF UP ETC. I COULD BE READY TO GO IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES. NOW FOR THE GREAT NEWS... I HAVE A GORGEOUS, BLACK DRESSY OUTFIT THAT I BOUGHT 13 YEARS AGO. THE LAST TIME I WORE IT WAS 13 YEARS AGO TO THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. SINCE THEN IT DID NOT FIT... NOT EVEN CLOSE. GUESS WHAT.... IT FITS!!! I LOVE IT AND IT WILL BE GOING CRUISING.HOWEVER, I MUST WATCH MY WAISTLINE OVER THE NEXT WEEK. I TEND TO PACK ON THE POUNDS EASILY. YESTERDAY, I WAS REALLY.... NAUGHTY. I BOUGHT A BAG OF CARAMEL CORN AND THE CALORIES WERE PRETTY GOOD FOR 3/4 OF A CUP (110) SO I FIGURED I’S HAVE THIS AS MY SNACK. I WAS SO GOOD AT SUPPERTIME WITH IT. THEN I BLEW IT... I TOOK IT TO BED TO WATCH TV AND COMMITTED THE ULTIMATE SIN FOR A DIETER. I DID NOT PREMEASURE... I ATE STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BAG AND BEFORE TO LONG THERE WERE NOTHING BUT CRUMBS!!! WELL, I WAS REALLY ANGRY WITH MYSELF. GUESS THERE’S NOTHING TO BE DONE EXCEPT BE EXTRA CAREFUL THE NEXT FEW DAYS AND TO EXERCISE A LITTLE MORE.I GUESS I’LL SIGN OFF NOW AND GET MY YOGURT, NO I HAVE TO EXERCISE FIRST... TREADMILL...30 MINUTES. SO ALL OF MY FRIENDS HAVE A LOVELY SUNDAY. DEBBIEPS. I COULD NOT RESIST THIS PIC... HOPE NO ONE TAKES OFFENSE.

Lol, great pics. I like the fall one best though. I am so proud of you for accomplishing your goal to loose weight. There is always a ton of food on cruise ships, so enjoy but be careful. Thanks for being my friend and always taking time to comment on my journals. I think you were one of the first people I meant when I came here. You and Spirit. I miss him. I guess he could be lurking around somewhere, smile. I have always felt comfortable with you Debbie, and you have always been an inspiration to me. Wow, congradulations on the black dress, isn\'t it a thrill when you find something like that that fits again. You got a slinky black dress and I got a pair of camo pants can see we do not shop at the same places:>)
Hey I\'m with you on that carmel corn. I bought a small bag recently when I got halloween candy for Neal and made the mistake of bringing the whole thing up to munch on while watching a movie and by the end of the movie there were not even crumbs left, good thing I avoided the black licores (sp)
I agree wiht the last pic! Gravity is scandalous. Congrats on the weight loss. Don\'t beat yourself up over the carmel corn, although next time invite me over and I \'ll help you eat the whole bag. lol I\'ve done things like that with boxes of crackers, vegetable thins, goldfish, etc. x0
