A CARIBBEAN CHRISTMAS
THIS IS MY CHRISTMAS TREE THIS YEAR. WE DECIDED THAT SINCE WE WERE NOT DOING UP THE HOUSE IN THE USUAL WAY THAT WE WOULD GO WITH THE CARIBBEAN THEME. WE THOUGHT IT APPROPRIATE SINCE WE ARE GOING AWAY ON DEC 31 TO THE DOMINICAN. NORMALLY I HAVE 7 HUGE!! BOXES OF DECORATIONS TO PUT UP BUT I JUST COULD NOT SEE THE SENSE IN PUTTING MYSELF THROUGHT ALL OF THE HASSEL! IT TAKES 3 DAYS TO PUT IT ALL UP AND 3 DAYS TO TAKE DOWN AND CLEAN UP. WELL, SINCE WE HAVE THE BOXING DAY FEAST THAT ONLY LEAVES 4 DAYS. NO WAY!!! SO I AM NOT STESSED ABOUT IT. WE EVEN HAVE STEEL DRUM MUSIC TO PLAY, MAKING CHILI AND OTHER DECORATIONS IN KEEPING WITH THE THEME.
I AM FEELING GOOD AND SLEEPING BETTER. THANK YOU,LORD! ALSO TANNING WHICH MAKES ME FEEL BETTER.

That is awesome and a great idea to keep the stress level down. I came real close to just having lights on my tree, lol.......I cut down on decorating ALOT this year also. I just could not do it all. It still looks nice and I don\'t feel so stressed and like there is crap everywhere. I would have liked more lights outside but I do have two pots that I made up with greens and lights which is pretty. Sometimes simple is best and we have more time to remember the real reason for Christmas.
I wish I could hide in your suitcase, lol......If I dont see you before Christmas Deb, I hope you have an amazing day. I am running every day this week and will probably be up all night working on 3 Rivers books. It will wind down after tomorrow as far as the tree farm.
We plan to spend Christmas Eve here with the boys and I am looking forward to that.......luv ya and glad you feel better....xo
