A blessed new opportunity!
In one crazy moment, I acted without thinking, just decided "What the hell, why not!". Turns out to be a huge blessing sent by God!
My friend told me about an ad in their local newspaper, where a caregiver was wanted for a sick old man. I immediately replied to the ad. Next morning I received a phone call from the man, and we arranged an interview date. Apparently he had many interviews. Well, he chose me! I moved into his home on the 1 st Decenber (free living in because he needs care 24/7). Although he is old, sick and very fragile, he has a beautiful personality, and that makes taking, care of him, a pleasure. I know now that the Lord God prepared this job just for me!!
I can freely talk about my beautiful Colleen, and he listens with understanding. It feels as if Colleen is here with me, helping me to do what I did for her for many years! What a wonderful new chapter in my broken life!!!
I don't know why I have not received any email notifications from DS for the past few weeks. Maybe a system problem.

Andelene, thinking about this for you makes me feel good inside and out! I know this is what you love to do, you are so good at caring for others!
