A beautiful advent prayer

God, thank you for the gifts of community, friendship, togetherness and love in Christ. Help us to remember those gifts in times of change, loneliness, and anxiety. In the words of St. Teresa of Ávila, “All things are passing away: God never changes.” Help us to remember this; that you are there in every stage of our lives, through every change and challenge we may face. Help us to invite you in, no matter what roofs we are under, so that we may relish in your graces always.
