A balanced day

I went to sleep around 11 last night, very rare for me. I woke at 940a in time to shower and dress and get down to chapel for morning meal. After the meal, I helped the sisters with a few things and then came back to my room to do laundry.. soup to nuts... and then vacuumed my room, clean Blue's litter, dusted and took all the trash out. The dryer broke so I had to transfer my wet clothes to another laundry room at the library house next door. As I was resting after everything I realized it was a really good day! I had meal prep to go down to at 3p and was looking forward to that. We all pitch in for the things we all need to keep life going here. I dare say that if I lived alone I'd probably be eating microwaved food from Trader Joe's. Food is much better here! Then I went to ring the church bell at 430 and had evening meal and then compline service. It's so beautiful here and feels so good that I feel like I'm in disbelief!!
