Another day...
In the course of my cleanup, I came across a notebook that had pages of my husband's writing. One was a list of catering menus and prices. (He was a chef.) Other pages had little notes that he left for the kids (our daughter and our foster children) - "Clean your room" type notes. I should just throw this stuff out, but it's so hard to let go of stupid little things like that. With every one of his little notes and memos that I toss, I feel like I am losing even more of him. Is that stupid?

No it is not stupid because I am putting up everything that reminds me of my husband. I find his old cards that he gave me for mother\'s day, birthday, christmas etc and i am putting it up. I want to keep everything that reminds me of him. I still have the bottle of his bodywash and shampoo that I am putting up. I cannot get rid of these things because I love him and want to hold on to anything that I can to remind me of him. I have decided that I will go to some quilt classes because I will take his favorite shirts, pants and sweaters to make quilts and give them to my kids. I want them to have a part of him to remind. I have other items that I have decide that I will give to them as they go getting older. i will give it to them on special ocassions. I love my husband and most of all I miss him more and more everyday. I ask myself how can I continue without him. Put up anything you want to and the day will come when you are ready to give it up and then and only then you can do it. Take care and a hug from your friend Linda
