I'm so proud of myself right now. I was just sitting here thinking...I have not cut myself since I had to get admitted into the hospital. Yes, I have had the urge to...but I'd do something about it. Last time I did, I called up my mom and talked to her about it and felt SO much better.
I really am starting to feel better.
Although I'm starting to take the Xanax more regularly (once or twice a day) and that ended up bad last time because it turned into 10 a day. I don't want to go back there...so I need to try controlling myself with that, it just feels like i NEED it.
Everyone on here is so great, thank you so much for all the support you have given me, it has helped me beyond belief.
...I felt happy today :) I can't believe I'm even saying that!
BUT then of course always in the back of my mind when I get this way...I'm terrified of going back to how I used to be. I need to stop thinking about that but it's so hard not to.

I am proud of you. It takes a huge amount of strength to stop the urge to cut. You did great my finding another outlet. You need to proud because it means your getting strong and we are here for you.
I\'m with Pix. I am very proud of you as well. You have indeed shown a great deal of strength and composure to resist that temptation. You have also come along way since you first joined DS. Stay happy. Remember that you are important and that lots of people here care about you.
I know sometimes it feels like, ok, when is the rug gonna get pulled out from underneath me. But with depression, you have to know and accept that probably you will still have bad days, but the fact that you are reaching out for help, and talking about your feelings is saying you are growing as a person, you are learning more about yourself and what it is you need when you do feel like that, and that\'s remarkable!!! Do you know how long it sometimes takes people to learn to help themselves in a positive way. Leave a sticky note on the mirror or somewhere you will see it throughout the day and write,\"I am important, I am worth it, and I am a strong women!\" Positive affirmations! Even if you don\'t believe, I do! And telling yourself that everyday will make you believe to! You\'re an angel!
Great going on not giving into the impluse. It can be difficult but you did it. One episode at a time, right?
