Well, I'm up 3 lbs. I should have expected that since I've been eating sweets and ham and all the Christmas dinner foods for the last 3 days, and not exactly small portions. The one thing I did manage to do right was I fastedĀ my 19 hours daily and kept my eating to the 5 hour window. Today was good progress though. I didn't feel the need to count down the seconds until I could eat. I did get hungry a couple of hours before time to eat, but I occupied myself until it was time to eat. Then I decided to lay down for a bit before I ate because it was so cold. I almost didn't eat again just before my window closed as I have been, but that little nagging voice kept freaking out in my brain telling me "You won't be able to eat for 19 hours!" so I gave in and ate more left overs. The good thing is that all the left overs (or at least the fattening ones) are mostly gone. Tomorrow I'm going to dice up some ham and put in a salad. Then the next day I'm going to use my ham bone to make some beans. I need to get into a regular exercise routine. Can't wait til I get my wii next month. I think it will make me feel a lot better since I can have fun and exercise every day. I don't have to worry about fitting it into a schedule. I can do it whenever I want, and since it's fun, I think I'll want to do it daily.Tuesday, I go to the cardiologist. I don't know what he's going to say. Best case scenario, the other echo was wrong and I can go get my surgery. Worst case scenario, my heart is too far gone to ever have surgery and I'll have a short projected life span. And, of course, it could be anything in between. My heart has been doing some weird things lately though, so I'm thinking it might be closer to the worst case scenario, but no way to tell til I have the new echo and see what the doc says. No matter what, I'm just going to keep trying to get healthy. That's really all I can do at this point. Wish I'd have started when I was much younger. I just didn't have the knowledge or tools or support back then. Well, no use crying over spilled milk.I hope you all have a wonderful new years.

3 lbs isn\'t so bad given it\'s christmas time...and see...you\'re already on to planning how you are going to make healthier choices...go you!!!....look forward to hearing about how much you love your wii in a months time. Are you getting the wii fit plus?
Continue taking one day at a time and let us know how you get on at the cardiologist on Tuesday...xxx
Oh dear, my body hurts just thinking about that style of fasting. I have physician\'s orders to eat every 3 hours whether I\'m hungry or not unless I\'m asleep. If it works for you, I rejoice with you.
Grateful I don\'t have to do it. Phewww!
