I had a really nice Christmas. Hope all of you did as well. This is the first time I've had my son and my grandbabies and daughter here together. Last year was the grandbabies first Christmas which was special, but my son was still incarcerated. It was nice to have them all together. I didn't have to have dinner at my moms and brothers. I know it sounds bad, but my brother usually makes a nice dinner, but he's sometimes in a bad mood and the babies don't have any place to play, and my kids don't like going there because my bro smokes like a freight train. Sometimes my bro gets migraines and the sounds the babies make really get to him. There are certain chairs (the only ones that don't hurt my back) that I'm not allowed to sit on. I love them, but not only do I not have anything in common, it's not comfortable there.Anyway, I've been on this fast 5 lifestyle. The premise is you can eat whatever you want, but you have a 5 hour of time in which you can eat, then you fast for 19 hours daily. The first couple of days were hard, but I'm doing well. I haven't lost any weight, but I've been eating sweets and stuff and I haven't gained anything. It's supposed to take 3 weeks to start losing, because of the pig out factor the first few days from being hungry. I'm getting (or I was until the holidays) better at eating healthy foods, and I expect to start losing soon. It just feels good to stick to an eating plan over Christmas with so many goodies around. It's easier to pass them up in the moment because I know I can have them later. The science behind it sounds pretty good. supposedly your body doesn't have food available all the time to burn as fuel, so it is forced to burn body fat. I'll know if it works soon. Any way, I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas.

Glad you got to spend the day in the way you enjoyed the most....Will be interested to see how you go on your fast 5 lifestyle over the next few weeks....let us know how you get on ...it kinda reminds me of when our son was little and he started swearing....in the end i gave him a swearing chair he could sit on for two hours each day and swear as much as he liked, but he wasn\'t allowed to swear at any other time....he lasted about 3 mins and then he\'d had enough...no more swearing....hope you can say the same about your food intake in a couple of weeks...lol....wishing you love and hope and happiness for the coming year xxx
