ok. Today was a bit better. I probably could have made some better choices, but I didn't feel out of control. Let's see..for breakfast I had a peach, for lunch a dutch bros apple smoothie, for dinner lentil stew with half a carnation instant breakfast shake with frozen berries mixed in, then for an evening snack I had a soda and small cinnamon roll. Like I said, could have made better choices, but the portions were good. I didn't exercise, but I was cleaning my moms house and moving around quite a bit more than usual. I did her laundry, washed dishes, took out several bags of garbage, cleaned out the fridge, cleaned the countertops, and gave her a bath and washed her hair. Then I picked up my grandbabies and watched them and made them dinner. Just as I was settling down for the evening, when my daughter called and I had to go get her. So, all in all, I got some activity, if not structured exercise. The amazing thing is that I am not exhausted. Normally after a day like today I would be dragging myself to bed, but I'm not feeling too bad. I felt good during the day too. I know what I need to do - keep plugging along and hopefully I will meet my goal by next week. If not it will be soon afterward. That long journaling and crying session from the other day has done wonders for me. I haven't been weighed down by guilt, pain, anger, and whatever else was all mixed up in there. My mind is free and I'm not worried about things to come. I hope this feeling holds.

I have to try one of those Dutch brothers apple smoothies! I love apple yogurt and cheesecake, etc etc., so I bet I\'ll like the smoothie!
