My sister went home from the hospital today. She has a cut knee, a head wound, and a "small" back fracture. Ok, I knew that. But last night she sent me a pic of her face. Her face has various scrapes. But one of her eyes is black and horribly swollen Swollen shut. They wouldn't let her go home until she "passed" a physical therapy "test because she was having mobility problems. She is getting around with a cane. They talked about how to navigate the stairs in her apt. Her daughter went home today, but her son (who lives in San Antonio too) is staying at the apt with her through the weekend to make sure things are ok. I still have no idea exactly what happened.
Received text from my ex asking how my sister was..so we texted about that. he wanted to bring his scooter over to show me so he brought it by the office on his way to the store. He'd told me he traded his motorcycle to his pastor in exchange for the scooter (It is a big scooter). I asked what he did with the other motorcycle. It was a small one that was for me, but I never could get the hang of it. Turns out he traded BOTH motorcycles for the scooter. Just like him. JUST like him. he said he wanted the scooter cause it has more storage space than a motorcycle has. I told my therapist he won't keep it. someone will offer him a deal. or he will trade it for something else. wouldn't surprise me if he offered it to me. When he brought it by, he asked me if I thought I could hold it up which made me wonder. Sigh, who knows.
I asked him about the cat that died. It was not the one I thought it was. He's still upset about it, which is normal. I would be too. he asked me if I ever go by the nursing home anymore since my dad died. I told him no and we talked about that. For some reason that led to him asking if I got the situation with my dads insurance worked out. I said yes. he said he just wondered but didn't think it right to ask. My dad died in January, so this topic strikes me strange. And I'm always wary when he brings up an odd subject out of the middle of nowhere and "just wonders". Oh well, whatever it is, if anything, it will come out eventually. It always does. My radar is bouncing off the walls. I know something is up...

Received message from sis: she is very tired and cannot do much of anything. she is off work until Oct 1 at the earliest.
well, ask and ye shall receive. he is going during Thanksgiving break to get #4 from WV and move her here. They are getting married after Thanksgiving. So I finally have told him absolutely no contact. No calls, no texts, no emails, no coming by my office. if I get mail or something to mail it to me because I do not want to see him. Told him I find it hard to believe he would marry someone he doesn\'t really know, but that is not my problem. That I hope he finds what he\'s looking for this time because I am done. finished. I am not going to pick up the pieces this time if it doesn\'t work out for him. Blocked him on cell and email. already had blocked him on FB. landline will not let me block him but I took him out of the directory and will not be answering any calls. from him.
