Hi Dodi and Jackie and anyone else who cares!I am writing a quick journal so you know I am home, and then going to get off the computer again.  I am in a lot of pain.  The surgery took 6 hours!  He did 6 small incisions and said I had a lot of scar tissue that he removed and my uterus was enlarged.  He will let me know about the pathology in a few days.  But he said everything looked good and he got it all and my bowels, etc were clean.  I am sore and bruised and my stomach feels like it is going to fall off!  I will be reading your notes later when I can sit longer.  I know you both were writing.  I am praying for you Dodi, I know you have a big day tomorrow.  Thank you both for caring and letting me know that I am not alone!Love ya!Theresa

I had my surgery on July 20th 2007 so it will be 2 years this summer. The only thing I noticed that when I walk around the Mall for long periods of time, shopping my pelvic area seems to ache. Could be my weight. I am overweight (working on that now, Ive lost 11 lbs in the past 2 weeks!) So did they take your ovaries too? It must have laprascopic if you dont have one large incision? Yes definitely hard to get muscle tone back! I haven\'t gotten that back, although I didn\'t have a flat tummy to start with!

So you are a real test to see how this thing goes in the long run!
My pelvic area already ached like that, and with my back pain, I stopped walking so much, but maybe it won\'t be so bad. Have to take note of it later.
They took the ovaries too. The doctor called it a robotic surgery, but when I looked up pictures of hysterectomies it looks like laprascopic.
I did not have a flat tummy either to start with, so this will be a challenge. But I am hoping that if I don\'t have all those \"female\" problems, maybe I can do some exercising. Everytime I tried before something would give me a problem. So I stopped completely.
