There are 24 hours in a day. Sixty minutes in an hour. Sixty seconds in a minute. 86,400 seconds in a day. Funny because it seems like there are a million chances in one 24 hour period to SI and ruin my record. Because it seems like I have to remind myself two million times a day that I am challenging the lies that my SI has told me. I don't want to do this anymore. I want to "Stand in the Rain" (an awesome song by Superchick) against all of my pain. I am not afraid any longer. I know it will be cold. And the rain will pound against me. The puddles will grow into small rivers, which will grow in depth and speed. But I will not drown. It is going to be scary because I will be out there in the rain by myself. It's up to me. It's up to me to heal. To be stronger, get better. It's up to me to put the blade down for good. And I will. Because the chill of the downpour is nothingCompared to the sunshine and rainbow full of promisesThat soon follow.

aww, this is so awesome! such a great perspective... yeah i know you don\'t know me lol... and that is a great song. recovery is possible, i have been recovering after i never thought i would. it is possible to stop. and you say that you are alone, but not all the time, there are always friends out there to help shield you from the rain, or deflect it at least for a bit. Help is out there too. you are not alone. but it\'s great how you want to get better, and you can do it, anyone can!
