ladies and gents....melissa has no balls...she is signing up for the spring semester............*sigh*...as of today (after meeting with an advisor at a scheduled appt, and then meeting with some other lady...cuz u know that things can never be easy they must send u all over god's green earth to get anything done) i have switched my major from business administration (which i was failing in like no tomorrow) to a double major of social/community health care, and psychologyguess id rather endure the stress and wrath of ED that school seems to double the impact of....rather than face the wrath and shame of my parents.....guess im still trying to be the perfect child...even though i am already a dead child in their eyes.....wish they would just see how hard i try to please them....wish they would just talk to me......mom are u there? dad?thoughts for the day....thanksgiving is coming up...im scared shitless...fuck this holiday....this one is all about food....i know people will tell u that its not all about the food...and well i know its not supposed to be about the food...but the world we live in today has made it into being all about the food...so while my family is turning themselves into bigger gluttons than usual (which is a feat in itself), i will be mustering the strength to drag my skinny ass to the dinner table (which i tend to avoid like the plague) and put food on my plate....and probably end up playing with it trying to make it look like im partaking in the festivities....fucking eh it snowed here this morning....gotta love upstate ny....brrrr.....im so fucking cold!!!!!!!!............global warming where are u?

Snow!? I love snow, but Ed hates it. I also hate thanksgiving. Ours was last month..... Dreadful.... Sorry to be negative regarding that, but I honestly don\'t get why there are set dates to EAT massive amounts of food. Why not have a regular meal and give thanks? Anyways, I just hate what it has become, or maybe it\'s always been like that.
Have a great weekend.
Aw, dammit, so no CA. Well, if you end up withdrawing the offer still stands. You know what I said about Thanksgiving. Just take four teaspoons. Four. And man, snow? That would be nice here, as a little treat, but in NY its freezing. :( Here is a big jacket for you..../snuggle
As for your parents, they aren\'t on a pedestal. You have to become independent someday, and if it means that you want to take a break from school, they should baulk or throw a fit. They might be worried that you\'re just going to drop-out, but explain like an adult to them that you are burned out and need some time to think about what you really want to major in. They were students one time too; they should understand, eh?
bleck...babe, i know what yuu mean about thanksgiving...everyone keeps going on about how they cant wait and i\'m like \'heellll no!\'
i did yuu ever think that maybee yuu try to be thinner to please yuur parents and be the perfevct child....i know thats a really commen idea but it just a thought..
they SHOULDN\'T baulk or throw a fit, that is.
Hey....send me your snow and I\'ll send you our Legendary Oklahoma fire danger weather...it\'s very hot..well not so much hot right now..just unseasonably warm and dry as crap...yeah..my mom always told me when I freaked out to just eat a normal portion...just because it\'s Thanksgiving it don\'t mean you have to eat like crazy...I always told people that it\'s not like this is the LAST THanksgiving...:)
Wow, I love Christmas, but I always find it hard to justify why people should eat like big fat pigs, all because Jesus was born. I couldn\'t imagine having to do it twice in 6wk\'s like you little Americano\'s have to. Best of luck though, it still sounds like a hoot (to use a term from the oldies), just had a couple of friends duck over to celebrate it with their families, and they are VERY excited :)
I\'m impressed on your choice of major!! I wish you all the best possible luck in the world. I also will be praying for you to get through Thanksgiving with your family. I understand it\'s difficult for you, and the tensions don\'t help. Now, about the snow, I love it personally, but I hate driving in it, only because for some reason, when the roads get bad, all the idiots think it\'s their opportunity to go out. lol Have a good evening, and God bless you. Steph
My first Thanksgiving out of treatment and I\'m just as stressed as you are. I\'m sorry you can\'t communicate your stresses with your parents. You will probably disappoint them over and over as they have expectations of you which may or may not mesh with your goals. I\'d loan you my balls but I\'m fresh out, ha. XOXO
Families!!!! Love them or hate them, we all have them... Some families are very indifferent and it can be more distructive for you. It would be good to know more background about why you feel that they\'ve given up on you. Did you have a normal childhood? Did you show affection? Did they criticize you a lot? Etc, etc...
Deep breaths, you will get through this holiday. We all will. I know you have the strength girl. Don\'t focus on the food, you choose what you do with it.
