today was a work day all around...i went to work from 7-1 and then i had job training from 6-8:30.....the job training was on maltreatment and abuse of children...since we are mandatory reporters of any abuse we suspect is going on with any of the children under our care, it's good to be informed....while alot of the people from the other day cares could barely keep their eyes open, i was soaking up the info...it was interesting to me....and very sad at the same time...sad that anyone would slap a 2 week old baby because they felt that the baby was out of line for crying and for "demanding" so much of its mother's time.....some people shouldn't be allowed to have childrenmrs karen went home sick this morning right after she got to the daycare....so it was miss pat and i in the toddler room....and even though she has been working there longer, she had no idea what to do in the toddler room since she is normally in the baby room....and well...im pretty much ALWAYS in the toddler room...so i was so on top of it...and i did well as the teacher...and omg the kids are actually listening to miss melissa....well as good of listening as any 2 yr old will do that is =PED is same old same bad.....415 calories today.....makes me wonder how i muster energy to carry around kids all day long.....guess where there's a will there's a way

I would be really interested in listening to that training too, because as an abused child, I would never ever want that to happen to anyone else.
As for your ED, just take baby steps. Maybe an extra 20 calories. Maybe 15, so it\'ll be a round 330.
You are such a good worker, it seems, and I am proud of you for doing so well. /huggles Anyway, I\'m off to bed, and dammit, I hope we can talk tomorrow. PS: I got ALL the laundry done...aren\'t you proud? (Oh, and I have been shaving my legs just for you...) ;)
you deserve to give your body the lovin\' that you give those kids! it\'s so cool to know that you are such a presence there in the centre. you are REALLY making a difference to those kids. they will remember you for a long time.
yes that is the kinda thing that is interesting and im very glad there are ppl like u and me who do care and will listen so maybe we can spot these abusers and save the child from some awful abuse!!!!!!
Those classes are always interesting, scary that people can do that. Anyway I hope you have a good friday...and keep trying those kids need you!
Boy I think I would have burst out crying if I had to hear about all of the abuse of children. It makes me so sad. Listen to Lily and up those calories sweet pea. We\'d hate to see you pass out with a toddler in your arms. XOXOXO
Yeah, it is sad to hear that someone would slpa a 2 week old, but it happens. My sister had 3 kids when she was pretty youmg. The first 2, my mom took custody of, but with her mom told my sister she had to take full responsiblity of him. My sister left him with a friend when he was 2 weeks old. He was crying and wouldn\'t stop. Her friend couldn\'t stand the crying, so he threw him out of his carseat and hit him on the head with a 2 liter bottle of Coke. Dustin had to spend a couple nights in intesive care. He now has a speach defect because of it. He is 8 years old now, and he talks like a 2 year old. It\'s very said, because you can tell that he could be such a smart kid if this didn\'t happen to him. My mom took full custody of him after this happened. The guy who did this is in jail. I think he is in for quite awhile. He did this to 2 other babies, one is now brain dead and the other died. He ran away from the scene, so he wasn\'t caught until he abused my nephew.
be you should stop counting calories. I used to count my calories, but I always ended up eating less because I would round up the number. I do look to see how may calories are in something, but I try not to think about it.
It\'s nice to see you have a passion for something. I still struggle with that.... It used to be drinking and doing drugs but well... that\'s nothing to be passionate about! lol...
