omg im turning into one of those people who has a shitload of people reading what they write...when i first came on this website, i was wildly jealous of those people....u guys never cease to amaze me...thank u to all of u who take the time to read my ramblings....u have touched me more than u will ever knowso i went to my grandparents' house last night...i havent been over there in like forever...i tend to stay away because my grandma is obsessed with food/feeding people...she always has and always will be like this....when i was heavy and non ED, i loved goin there....their house meant cookies, chips, pizza, ice cream, cake...u name it....she has 3 fridges, and a giant freezer all loaded with food....not to mention the laundry room, the spare room, the backporch, and the kitchen all brimming with food....she goes to the grocery store at least 3-4 times a week....im not shitting u guys....but alas...i love them, they are my grandparents...so i went to their house for a visit...i was there for 2 hrs...during which, my grandma did talk about food mostly....like what she ate, and how she had ur stomach surgically belted to make it smaller....then she talked more about what shes been eating, what restaurants they went out to and EXACTLY what they had to eat there...blah blah blah...lol shes always like that...o well....cant expect people to change..im just glad that she didnt try to make me eat something...she did offer me a diet pop, which i declined...i find that it's easier just to not consume anything rather than have people talk about what u r consuming....like going out to a restaurant, i think that people would take more kindly to u saying ur not hungry and not having anything than if u ordered a salad (just the lettuce) with no dressing....idk, but this is what i have come to understand....but the visit went well, and my gramma is ordering this set of star cookie cutters that come in all sizes so that u can make a xmas tree out of them...im gonna make a center piece for the table at the family xmas eve party!omg im so pooped....i woke up this morning and just didnt wanna move...i watched americas next top model (theres a marathon on today on mtv)...then i took a shower...and then stripped my bed and threw my bedding into the wash (i have to clean everything since i just got over being sick) and i threw out my toothbrush and got a new one...no sense in getting the sickness again!...then i went to tim hortons and got some nice free coffee with this coupon i had....now i think tonight i shall go to bingo and try my luck there.......god i am so tired...i think that i am seriously pms'ing...but without the flow....the bloat is down thank the lord....still not my perfect flat/concave stomach, but almost there...its bareable...just cuz i know its not permanent....tmorrow, my parents are going grocery shopping (w/o me cuz they wont take me anymore)...they will only buy me what htey think is suitable...which means i only get ONE bag of lettuce instead of a head of lettuce/2 bags...haha the bastards! w/e i dont care...i dont need lettuce....fuck it...ive just been trying to think of something expensive to request so that i can return it and get my safe foods....hmmm.....

That is so good of you to go to your grandmas!!! I know what you mean about loving them and just dealing with the food issue! I have problems with just going to my family and sitting there... Have fun at BINGO! ANd yes you have a lot of people on hear that care for you! That is a good thing!

Yes, I think we should organize a \"Missy Fan Club\" ha! Your grandmother sounds like she comes from the depression era when food was scarce. It\'s a really common thing with older people. As for your parents, I hate to see Ed standing in the middle of your relationship. Makes me sad. XO

Is your grandma Italian? She has to be. Mine is the same. She just blew out her basement fridge, but still has two upstairs. They are PACKED with food. She also has a downstairs basement where all the real cooking takes place, plus a back room in the basement lined with jars of food canned for the winter. I know so many other Italian/Americans just like that....
Good for you for visiting your Grandma\'s. I know I like to isolate from family to avoid the food and any family issues. It\'s important to make time to see them though.

I HATE American\'s Next Top Model, to be honest, because it\'s just crap. And I hate Tyra Banks after knowing what she did to the girls at the treatment centre I went to. Horrid.
I think it\'s tough with grandparents because they\'ll never understand. My grandma was told about my issues (on my dad\'s side) and she was like: \"I don\'t understand...what\'s wrong with a little food?\" But at least she never goes on about weight like yours does. :(
Oh, and bytheby, I go to the grocery store like, twice everyday. Haha.
Oh, and yeah, your grandparents must be Italian...or they suffered greatly in the Depression. Yeah?

the very discription made me cringe and feel very uncomfortable. my nannas is sort of the same but no where near as bad and i stopped seeign her for almost a year becuase of it which just shows how much control an e.d can have over you.
