all i could think about while i was at my ice cream stand job (this is the last weekend its open!) was about how scared i am of losing my job at the preschool because of my fucking ex dr not signing the papers.....i was mentally preparing the speech that i am going to give my boss about y the bottom half of the sheet isnt filled out....im gonna have to tell her about the ED.....grrr...i dont think its any of her business but what choice do i have? i have thought about all of the different lies i could tell her...but telling her that my dr just didnt see the bottom half doesnt seem like a probable thing to have happen......and i dont want her to think that i have a communicable disease that i could give to the kids......grrrrr......this is so fucking messed up! my sister told me to just tell my boss about it and explain the situation...to which i said "but i dont want her to know about my ED" to which my sweet sister *rolls eyes* responded "dont worry about that, its obvious that everyone that u have one"i called a new dr yesterday and left a message on his machine asking if he was taking on any new patients and i left my number for him to call me back at....so hopefully monday he will call....and my lovely lovely ex dr sent me to letters in the mail...both of them stating that he has dropped me from his care and to please send them back with the bottom half filled out with the doctors office that im switching tos information so that my records could be transferred.....ok i got the point with the first letter...i didnt need another one the next day.....asshole!question i have been asking myself all day.....when did my ED stop getting in the way of my life, and my life start getting in the way of my ED?

Something has to give, Melissa. Most likely, in the end, your boss is going to find out anyway. The bes thing is to nip it in the bud and say that you are perfectly capable to holding the job, but you have an illness that your doctor believes is worrisome. It\'s not catching, so she should understand.
oh girly...well the way I see it...you can do a few things while having ED, but you can do so much more without it....I hope you don\'t lose your job...good luck..jenny
Good question. Whaddaya think?
i think it freakn brave that yuur gunna tell yuur boss...even though yuu need to,its till brave.
that question is kinda hard...i think it flip flops between the two...but usally the ed is more important :p
This is a really tough situation. I hate that you have to deal with all this. I do think the best thing for now is to tell them the truth at work. I hope they understand b/c I know and you know that your are perfectly capable to do a good job, but you know how others view eds sometimes. Hope it goes well. Good luck....hugs!
I\'ve always believed its best to be honest. You may not get the outcome you want, but honesty gives us the outcome we need. I think your sister is right. Sorry about the asshole. XOXOXO
