i feel as though i am sitting in the middle of a huge battleground....from one side i hear screams from my ED saying "dont eat too much! dont get fat! u dont deserve to eat! everyone wants the thinness that u have obtained, now keep it!"....then u have my parents saying "just eat!, ur killing urself! ur too skinny!" then u have the doctors saying "if everyone just listened to their bodies, weight would not be an issue".......well what happens when someone's body goes mute? mine has...it no longer tells me it's hungry...cuz it knows that it's not gonna get fed...so y bother?i am so glad that i got such great feedback (pardon that word lol) about the food dreams...thank god im not the only one who has the nightmares where i think that i have consumed foods that i normally would not...thank u guys for letting me know that i am not alone in this!i am so tired of hearing people make fun of fat people....it doesnt motivate me to get over my ED in the least...like today at work, this guy i work with was talking to 2 of his friends...and his friends were talking about how they had to do this trust fall thing....and how they were expected to try and catch this fat chick...and they were laughing at the ludicrity of it......in my head ED is screaming "see stay skinny! u dont want people talking about u like that do u?"final thought for the day: "YOU CAN LEAD AN ANOREXIC TO A BUFFET BUT U CANT MAKE THEM EAT "- melissa S.

Your parents, sad but true are right. Ed however is wrong, it\'s not like you are going to eat normal daily then end up weighing 500lbs... your body will adjust and be what it needs to be and once it gets healthy you will be able to maintain healthy weight for your height.... Don\'t let Ed tell you healthy means fat, it doesn\'t, it means energy to enjoy life and the opportunity to show the world that you have a lot to give. Stay strong, you can fight this.

Glad you can separate the voices from your own voice. Now that you\'ve done that what does Missy want? Say it a little louder. Just a little louder, I can\'t hear you. XOXOXO

I agree with Gab-You know that you have another person trying to tell you what you should do or how you should look, but what is it that YOU really want out of life. You need to find the thing that will give you the strength to kick Ed out.

nice quote!
sad though.

you asked at the begining, y bother....well, i\'m assuming you want to live right? well that in itself is a good enough reason to bother trying. unless i\'m completely wrong and then you\'ll have to forgive me. i know you want to live a long fun happy NORMAL life. if you set goals and work towards them you can and will reach them.
oh yeah, and the more i hear people ridicule the fat/heavier people, the less i want to gain weight, it\'s terrifying. ((HUGS))

I hate when people talk badly about overweight people or when they talk about haw much food someone ate. It makes me very uncomfortable and alot harder for me to recover. Like I\'ll see someone who is a little heavy and think to myself \"she has a little excess weight but she seems confident with it\" then I\'ll hear someone ridicule that person which makes me change my mind about the thought I had.
