well my bff tracy keeps calling me and telling me about her drunken escapades in canada...she keeps telling me how much fun she had and how she wants me to go with her...she keeps going with her friend scott whos like 24 and this girl carly who's 16...idk if she's trying to make me jealous by hanging out with them...but it's working a lil bit...but she'll never know that...cuz if i get jealous enough..i get even...i know that's bad but i do....if the green monster known as envy gets to me enough...then i will call some of my other friends who dont like tracy and will go out with them and then tell tracy what a blast i had...lol that's so evil i know....but i feel as though tracy is getting sick of me b/c of my ED...she keeps saying melissa u need to drink...i feel like ever time she calls to tell me how she went to canada the night b4...she is trying to bait me into going...but ED wants me to stay at home with him and hide from the calorie monster

Hey you can have fun wihtout drinking. I know it\'s a bit awkward but couldn\'t you go and just not drink? I mean I don\'t even know what drinking is like, but I can still have fun when others are drunk..lol...and don\'t be jealous...drinking isn\'t the best and funnest thing in the world (to me anyway).....hope you find a good solution.....Jenny
I don\'t think it\'s right of her to pressure you to drink..that is your own decision, and i think it\'s just idiotic to get drunk and act stupid..it\'s a waste of calories and time, not to mention can ruin your life. My brother is an alcoholic, so I know how it can ruin lives and destroy the future. I do like a drink every now and then, but I don\'t believe in getting drunk. Just use your own judgement. Hugs!
i agree that whatt she doing is moree than just annoying..maybee she not trying to piss yuu off but she sure is doing a good job...i dont thinkk shes sickk of yuur ed...i think she thinkks that yuu will have moree fun if yuu go out and drink..but it doesnt havee to be true for yuu..
i can understand why wat shes doing is annoying, i dont know if its that she is getting sick of ur ed as much as she might be trying to get u to break ur \"rules\" and beat ed wen it comes to alcohol...but honestly i dont see the thrill in alcohol, the thought of being drunk and not being able to control my actions/words as much is not something that appeals to me! of course the calories and the fact that i cant drink cuz of my meds keeps me from doing it, but is there any way u could go and be the designated driver or something?
i would have to argue and say that she wants you to hang out with her. she doesn\'t want you to get fat, she\'s doubtfully trying to irritate you. she\'s trying to entice you to GO OUT AND HAVE FUN and leave Ed home alone. even if you went, who says you have to drink?
you don\'t have to drink to have fun and not at all if you don\'t want too. People can become frustrated and upset. Usually cos they love us lots and just don\'t understand the ED. No matter what ppl say, I think they need to have experienced an ED to understand. Here for you :)
Hey I wanted tell you that there\'s only 64 cals. in your hard liquors. So if you get like a rum or vodka and diet coke it\'s only going to be 64 calories per drink. And since you are thin, don\'t eat much, and don\'t drink I\'m sure you\'re a big time light weight so I\'m sure one or two drinks will get you a good buzz going on. Maybe just go with her one time just to check out the seen ya know. Almost all bars serve coffee and diet soda. So pack some splenda and hit the road. Like the others have said you don\'t have to drink to have fun.
I\'m an alcoholic, so I can\'t really relate to hanging out with drinking people, but that\'s just me. I don\'t have anything to add that hasn\'t already been said, but I know the jealousy thing, and the revenge. I do that crap all the time. All it does is make me suffer in the end. I think Erica is right that she is trying to distract you from Ed. I think Ed is fighting back, trying to tell you that you need to hurt her. He is a loudmouth bastard. XOXOXOXOXO
Ummm, no offense but your BFF sounds like a moron. Why is she encouraging you to drink? Missy, you don\'t have to, and someone should be your friend wheather you have a ED, or have a mental illness, or is just plain normal or whatever! You do what you want, you are a smart girl like I always say, and you\'ll make the right decisions. Your friend needs a reality check.
You are feeling jealous because you feel left out because I bet your ED holds you back from a lot of those situations, but quite frankly, getting drunk and not remembering things isn\'t worth having. Work on yourself, and stay in school, that\'s the best choice.
