some advice i try to live by and that anyone should try to follow ED or not...
1) try to leave everything just a little bit better than u found it....even if it's something as small as picking up a piece of litter and putting it in a garbage can
2) get to know ur parents...u never know when they will be gone for good
3) dance....even if u have no where to do it but in ur own living room
4) enjoy the power and beauty of ur youth
5) be kind to ur siblings...they r the best link to ur past and r the most likely to stick with u in the future
6) friends may come and go but a precious few will hang on
7) remember compliments that u receive...forget the insults (this one is easier said than done)
8) be kind to ur body......do not be ashamed of it or worry about what others think of it.....it is the most precious tool u will ever have (i know i know this one is hard to follow)

I like those. If I didn\'t have my siblings I would go crazy... they are my best friends. I love my parents I regret those years I pushed them away more than anything... and I regret now because I am making them so upset with this stupid thing. And the last two are definitely hard to do... friends... they just go away with me. :/
Wise words. 2) The parent thing can get pretty complicated, but it is a beautiful thought. 4)Hmmm.. I never felt pretty or powerful, especially the younger I was. 5)I would be lost without my older sisters. 6)Very True 7)I really like that one. I have come to realize recently that forgiveness is sweeter than vengence- I never thought I would get to that point 8)Dreaming of the day that I could feel that way about my body.
I really like these, I just bookmarked this page!
1)i like this one because it has the power to make you feel like you are making a small difference on a daily basis
2)I wish I could do this, I find it really hard to communicate with my parents or share anything thats even half related to feelings (family therapy=my worst nightmare!!!) I feel like the closer I am to them the more I am hurting them with my ed :(
3) reminds me of one of my fave quotes thats something like \"work like you dont need the money, dance like nobody\'s watching, and love like you\'ve never been hurt\"
5 and 6 are very very true, and 7 and 8 are really hard..especially 8 :(
Yup. To many people take everything for granted. I know... I think the people that are aware of it at least are better than the people that just think about themselves.
great advice!
That was very nice Missy, if we say those things to ourselves long enough we begin to believe them, recording over the negatives.
You are wise beyond your years. I love what you have said, thank you for sharing this with us.
This is just how i think, I have made this an inspirational story, i can\'t get over its just how i feel
