i have this thing i like to do...it's rather sick...i like to keep tabulating my calories that i already have consumed and the ones that i plan to consume by the end of the day...and i add them up and then i keep repeating the number in my head.....655 655 655 655.....that is todays magic number....i know that this is not a good quality amount of energy....but knowing this and being able to do something about it are 2 very different things....i cannot even imagine putting anymore food into my body and going over that number........

I do the same thing...I calculate every time I eat something and at least 3 times before the next food I eat and fig out what my total for the day would be...it takes up a lot of time and if I have an urge to calculate but I am unable to at the moment, like because I\'m sitting in class taking notes, I get so anxious and need the professor to stop talking so that I can add up my calories.
and you are right--knowing something is wrong doesn\'t mean it is easy to change it :(

I do the same thing. I add all my calories up.

I am the same way.

Wow, what good advice I am *chuckles*. I eat under 1000 calories. I try for 700. If I go over, I throw up. I\'m trying to get into a good routine of eating one chicken breast cut up (through out the day) for protein, and having lots of fruits and nuts and veggies in the house. I\'m trying to go for a high-protein, low-fat, high fibre diet. I find I\'m not dizzy, and I have energy to go for long walks, and no napping.

I don\'t know even if that helped. But I understand your struggles.
