well i got up at 12:30 woo hoo!!! i love vacation!!! did some housework so that i could feel like i deserve to eat something later.....ok this might sound weird but i get really protective of my safe foods...like my parents put a limit on how much lettuce i can purchase when we go grocery shopping cuz they know that given the chance i will consume only that...so i got a little perturbed when i went into the fridge yesterday and saw that my mom ate half of one of my bags of lettuce....i know this is dumb but if she's gonna put a limit on it then she shoudnt touch it right? ok ok ok i know it's only food and that's y i didnt say ne thing to her i kept it 2 myself...and well myself and u guys i guess....

Nope - not dumb at all. I think a lot of us are protective of our safe foods. I have two of em - tofu and sugar free sweet pickles. No one else in my house will touch my tofu so I only have to get pissed when my grocer doesn\'t have any on the shelves. The sugar free sweet pickles though? My kids know Momma\'s head will spin if they touch \'em.
How stupid is it that I am leaving for the beach in a few hours and I\'m stopping on the store on the way out to make sure I have enough safe foods to get me throug the weekend? LOL
Glad you\'re enjoying your vacation. Relax and ENJOY!
It\'s not weird at all. It\'s like we limit ourselves and have certain foods that we\'ll allow so when you open the fridge or pantry and see that someone else is eating it, it\'s like they\'ve taken the little food you allow yourself. I know I sometimes keep some of my food in the basement pantry because my brother will eat anything he wants to out of the pantry in the kitchen without thinking, and he\'s usually too lazy to see what\'s downstairs lol.
it is not wierd at all. it\'s part of this disease. Its hard enough to eat it, so if thats what you can eat, everyone else should know its off limits. In college my roommate would steal the group kashi cereal and put it in her room, and the roommates would always get so pissed...now i understand. I guess its all about knowledge
