Interesting situation has crossed the radar screen,, seems that stories concerning vets who have returned from Afghanistan and Iraq and who have been killing themselves at an alarming rate,, are being minimized and sometimes being pretty much ignored and trivialized by both the Dept. of Defense and the Brit Ministry of Defense pretty much in tandem with each other,, Issues of PTSD for the serving ex military and hopelessly underfunded with programs being cancelled outright using the excuse in both cases of duplicated programs on the civilian and military sides,, also in both countries... it is like twins who wear the identical clothing 24/7, with one being deathly afraid of being out of step with the other,, I am not a veteran and have no connection what-so-ever with this issue,,, but given all the other crap that has surfaced ... this is just another instance of intolerance and blatant disregard for those in need,,
 
For information purposes ,,,, it comes out that the unemployment rate for  Iraq/Afghan vets hovers around 16% +/-... and a tad higher in the UK. ..per NPR and the BBC..
