hi to all my dearest sistersi dont know what i would do if it werent for you, and it touches me so very deeply that you are there, and that you CARE so much, and that you are all so warm and loving and just so amazing.... .....thank you. and this caring and love has enabled me to talk. so for now, something set me off on friday. i was doing well, getting the kids all settled into their new schools, much excitement, "new-ness", new hopes, moving forward, never for a second without jessy with me. but HAPPILY with me, my thoughts of her were happy ones, remembering her wonderful laughter, and i joke a lot at the cutest things she used to say and do. not being able to talk properly, but with the joy and sense of humor she had, i just loved her so much, and i often say words within my family, mimicing jessy, and we all laugh cos she was so so cute. on friday night, a woman just pitched up at my house, unannounced, id met her once or twice before in the community, but i dont know her personally. in fact when she came in, i couldnt even recall her name. ....well she said, she's here to borrow a pushchair, as my sister in law told her i have one that she can use.i was SO SO SO SO ANGRY. how dare my sister in law offer my things to other people. ITS JESSY'S CHAIR, i hold it close to my heart, it is in my bedroom, with jessy's barney and teletubby, and the blue silk blouse she wore to my wedding. jarod sits in her chair a lot and that is FINE with me coz he was close to her, and he is my family. and i also love sitting in it, cos its aluminium, light, and its like a rocking chair a bit, and very comfy. so i tell this woman no, my pushchair is jessy's chair, and it doesnt fold. she proceeds to have a look at it and proves that it DOES fold. i said well, no, its jessy's chair and she cannot take it. she proceeds to practically start an ARGUMENT with me. she says its to push some 5 year old kid in to a religious thing. and jessy would be doing a good deed by doing this. i couldnt believe how pushy she was, i mean no is NO! she actually started wheeling it out to the car, and a visiting aunt went and took it away from her. ... by now i was in my bathroom, collapsed on the floor, sobbing and sobbing and sobbing. the pain was unbearable. my husband phoned his sister and crapped all over her, and she said sorry. as for this other woman, who the @#$%*^* is she to just walk into my home and get so pushy. in any case, i was gonners by now. none of that mattered anymore. i was shocked by the feelings it brought up in me - jessy's chair. i cried and cried until my husband tried to get me up. my face was puffy, my head hurt, i was all congested.i came to supper but i couldnt eat. they kept saying i need to eat, so i forced myself. halfway through, i ran to the bathroom and i was sick sick sick. like when jessy died. i sobbed so much. nothing has been able to console me. suddenly everything is so hard to deal with. the other 3 kids, its only their first week into school and i feel like i cant keep up with all the demands of the schools, and the homework. and im trying to show the kids a positive attitude. but inside i am crying and crying and crying. what is wrong with some people! imagine going into someone else's home, and practically insisting on taking, even if just borrowing, a belonging of their child who has passed on. AND trying to convince them that the child, AND YOU, would be doing a good deed!! they can SEE you are distressed. WHAT IS WRONG WITH SOME PEOPLE!!! i am in such pain. i love jessy, i miss jessy, it cant even be REAL that she's dead. how can it be real? it makes me feel like nothing can be real then. im sorry for pouring all this out. just want to be sick all the time.

I am glad that you get all out. I am so angry with that woman. Who gave her the right to be so pushy so unresonable? I understand you totally and you have the right to say no. I am so attached to Luchan\'s belongings that I cannot throw away even a piece of paper with her handwriting on.I would be very upset if anyone touches her things because I am not ready to let them go. Please don\'t let this event upset you more my dear friend. Don\'t punish yourself with other\'s fault. take care love Robyn
I am so sorry for what happened, what is wrong with that sister, she had not right to just send someone over like that and put you in that perdicament. I\'m glad your husband called her and was angry. Some people have no respect and I am truly sorry you had to go through this. If you need someone I am here for you.
Even after 20 months I say the same thing...how can Alex be dead? This woman that tried to borrow Jessy\'s chair should be ashamed of herself. And, you need to just forget her insensitivity...put it out of your mind. You can recover from this...we are stronger than we know...you can be back to remembering the good things...I think we will always have ups and downs...just they don\'t last as long or aren\'t as low...love to you...Karen
That lady really had a lot of nerve - doesn\'t NO mean NO to her & your sister in law is another story - I\'d clobber them both. It doesn\'t take much to set us off at times & you have every right to your feelings - I really don\'t know what to say to the insensitivity of both of them...tomorrow will be a better day....Hugs, Ann
It goes back to the concept that no one can fully understand the depth of your pain or anticipate your feelings or needs unless they have lost a child.
As much as I would like to ring her neck...I agree with Karen...you have to let this woman\'s and your sister-in-laws insensitivity go...to harbor it with eat you alive...look at how much damage it has done already. I think your husband should be commended at backing you up. We are not equipped on how to cope with the loss of a child--how possibly can those that have not?...it is difficult for everyone.
As far as an almost complete stranger being so rude
I venture a guess she is that over everything...in fact, she probably even pushed your sister in law
into this too...some people are just so self-absorbed.
Relax, regroup & take care of you,
Ann
keep talking Janice... It\'s good for u.
i\'m glad you are starting to talk more. i can\'t believe this lady but i\'m glad your aunt stood up for her. i\'m sorry. people really just don\'t understand. the pain of losing a child is nothing that can be felt or understood unless it\'s happened to you. i\'m praying for you. keep pushing forward. love and hugs always, meg
hey jan, i can not believe the nerve of that woman, she owes you a huge \'sorry\' and so does you sister in law!!! that was just so wrong and you have every right to be upset and just pissed off that she behaved this way.....im so sorry that this happened to you. im glad that your hubby called her up and gave her a piece of his mind, perhaps she will be more thoughtfull in the future....
im really glad that your able to get you feelings out in your journal i think that helps alot.....
im always here for you jan, and im thinking of you....lots of love..jann
thank you my closest friends, for making me feel okay, for validating and being so sensitive to my feelings. you are really, really, the only ones who understand. with all my heart and love, thank you for your friendship. i will always be here for you. all my love, jan
Janice don\'t be sorry, it\'s what we are here for. I can\'t believe that your sister-in-law would offer your things to be borrowed like that, or the lady and her behavior in your home!! That is so insensitive and just plain horrible, and I\'m so sorry that you had to deal with that. I\'m sorry that you are in a bad place right now. I know all about that. I want to remind you that you will find the light again. We will fall into the dark times every now and again...grief is like a roller coaster ride...but eventually it will smooth out again. We are all here for you! Take care of yourself...afterall you know that you can\'t take care of others any other way. Hugs to you my friend.

Every little thing of our children means something to us. I even have \"garbage\" so to speak of my sons. His ticket to the last movie he went to. It\'s unexplainable to anyone but us mothers who have lost a child. But it is OK. I\'m so sorry this woman was so insensitive. I hope she has learned a hard lesson about others feelings. You will be OK friend. I\'m happy you didn\'t give in and go sit in Jessy\'s chair and smile friend. Lots of love. Robin
boy i would have knocked that woman on her arse. heres a huge hug and tons of love to you right now. unbelievable.
