I guess a lot has changed since the last time I wrote. The play (28th and 29th) went fantastically well, and I wish we could do it all again. I went to Canal Street with the others afterwards, and seem to have made best friends with a girl called Tasha (she's really cool, so it's awesome and we have an insane amount in common). We're having a reunion on Nick's (the director's) birthday, and that'll be fun.
I had my interview for Drama last Wednesday, and all the girls were incredibly bitchy. On Saturday I got an incredibly patronising email telling me I hadn't got in (that suggested fucking Salford - why the fuck would I apply to Salford if I was at Manchester? It's a terrible university). Of course, I cried (a lot). I'm going home this Saturday to talk about possibilities for next year with Mum and Dad. On the same day, Cecily called me to ask if I was busy (I was still drunk when she rang me because I'd gone to bed at six) because Ruth needed a violinist. Playing at the wedding was a good distraction, and I'm now freelancing for her quartet.
I've been looking at different courses since. I probably won't reapply to Manchester - it's not as practical as I want - but I might apply to MST, and Warwick, Birmingham, York, and I REALLY want to go to Mountview. I doubt I'd get in, though. Aside from that, I'll probably find an office job next year; the hours will be regular, so I can carry on with choir, dance classes, possibly join a few theatre things, and then still do languages in my spare time. To be honest, though, I'm absolutely heartbroken. I had so many plans for next year, and now I'm just sad and stressed and I don't really know what I'm doing with my life - one of the reasons to be going to Mum and Dad's.
I'm not even sure about moving in with Dan. I don't know what I'm doing or what I want. Maybe I just need some time out.
Weightwise: Adam told me the other day that I've lost a considerable amount of weight since September. Dan keeps telling me I'm tiny, which he likes (as do I) because he feels like he can keep me safe. I went clothes shopping on Monday and bought my first pair of disco pants. The only ones they had in the sale were size six, so I bought them to see if they fitted - and they do. Either Primark's sizes have changed, or I've lost more weight that I though.
