Dear Kitty,
I've been sad again recently. I mean, I was ok when Dan was here because - well, because he's Dan. I'm seeing him again next weekend, but it feels so far away. I took him to the bus station on Sunday night and cried when we said goodbye. I don't usually cry, but I couldn't help it this time. He was very sweet about it though. I cried again yesterday after Stef broke the mug he won me in Cromer, and then when he Skyped me. I almost cried this morning too, but I'm feeling a bit better now.
I guess I'd call this feeling 'homesickness', but it's not that. I don't miss my parents or Norwich or anything. Or maybe I do miss Norwich. I miss Dan living in Norwich, which made everything so much simpler last year. I think I'm just finding coping with everything difficult now though. The fact that it's coming up to the third of December isn't making things much easier.
I guess what I need to focus on is next weekend. And the fact that Dan and I will have practically a whole month together over December/January. And that it's only six and a half months until I move in with him.
Yours,
     Chessie
