Dear Kitty,
Dan came to stay last Friday. Last week was difficult and I spent a lot of it crying but, on the bright side, I did start writing again. On Friday, I was asked to audition for the German play by Kam, so that's what I'm doing tomorrow. The play's Anne Frank, and apparently I'll definitely get a part in it, so tonight I'm preparing by reading her diary out loud in German.
So, last Friday night, I had a nightmare. When Dan and I went to bed, I couldn't let go of him, which he thought was sweet, but I think he understood that I just wanted him to be there with me, because he let me carry on squeezing his arm and said 'it's ok, I'm not going anywhere'. On Saturday, we stayed in bed and watched American Beauty and Cloud Atlas and cuddled. On Sunday, I took him to St Chrysostom's in the morning, and then we went bowling with Stef, Adam and Michael at the Trafford Centre. I bought Dan lunch and he paid for my bowling, and we had a shower when we got back after we got rained on all the way home. We made gnocchi and I did some studying before we got into bed. On Monday, I studied again, and then we went for coffee in Kro before I dropped him off at the bus stop. My test went awfully because I panicked, but I've been studying lots recently, so I know that things can only get better. I'm getting the bus to London on Saturday to see Dan, and this Wednesday I need to go shopping for his birthday present. So far, all I've got him is an Eevee.
And I only cried once while Dan was here, and that was when we watched Cloud Atlas. I had a bit of a weird moment on Saturday after we watched Moulin Rouge downstairs, but I'm ok now.
Yours,
Chessie
