Dear Kitty,
I was sad for most of last Saturday. Dan came home at quarter to eight and knew something was up (apparently I don't talk much when I'm upset), so he was sweet to me all evening - except for one bit when we argued about a film and didn't speak for five minutes. After I made tea, we watched two episodes of Mad Men while I got on with my jigsaw, but I kept getting tired of it, and he didn't seem to want to stop touching me that evening because he knew I was sad, so he was cuddling me in some way all night; kneeling behind me, holding me on his lap, spooning on the floor, even (at one point) sitting on me. I tried not to cry all night, and then he got me to start talking when we got into bed and I had a little cry on him. I felt much better afterwards, though. I don't know how he gets me to tell him what's up, but he does.
On Sunday, I woke up at twenty past seven and then couldn't get back to sleep, so I went downstairs and watched TV for a bit. I went back to bed at half nine because it was cold, and fell asleep again almost straight away! Dan was very surprised. We woke up again an hour later and decided to have a shower and a make-out session. We had breakfast outside at about one and then spent the rest of the afternoon playing Phase 10 and watching Don't Tell The Bride. We had another shower that night (though we'd meant to watch Monsters Inc.!) and he washed my hair for me. I love it when he does things like that - it just makes me feel so safe and looked after. He also gagged me that evening for the first time, which was fun - but would have been more fun if William hadn't been in. He left on Monday morning at half past seven - and, as soon as he'd left, all I could do was cry because he wasn't there anymore. I had to get the bus to Norwich so I could catch my train, which was mega tiring because my suitcase was so heavy. William stole my cigarettes that morning too, which was bloody annoying and just downright rude. I got to my new house at twenty past three that day, and spent a few hours unpacking my stuff before having to go into town to buy stuff like a duvet and sheets (I have my very own double bed!). Yesterday, Andrew brought the rest of my stuff over and I spent all of yesterday afternoon unpacking. Today, I've been applying for jobs and I might watch Mulan later, once I've finished Toy Story 3.
I miss Dan so much. He'll be here in two weeks exactly, but it's such a long time...
Yours,
Chessie
