Dear Kitty,
so, Dan and I sorted out our argument last Tuesday night, and we talked abot it properly in bed on Saturday night. Anyway, back to last week:
Dan picked me up from the station last Thursday, and we went to Frank's for half an hour, before he left me to go to a John Adams concert. He arrived at mine on Friday morning while I was revising - told me I looked very studenty because I was wearing leggings and a fleece - and then we spent most of the day cooking and shopping and getting ready for that night. Josh and Satnav arrived at around half seven, and we stood around and talked and had drinks while I cooked the starter (baked char siu buns). Josh helped me with the main (sticky pork for those who can't handle spice, chilli and ginger chicken for the rest, egg fried rice with peas, and steamed vegetables). After dessert (homemade spice cake, apple compote and ice cream), we got progressively more drunk - William too - and talked and laughed and played Never Have I Ever. I ended up sitting outside with Satnav, smoking and speaking French, until Dan put me to bed because I felt ill and wouldn't stop speaking in a French accent.
I woke up at seven the next morning, and so did Dan. We fooled around for a bit until I finally got out of bed at nine, when Dan's hangover kicked in. Satnav made breakfast for the boys afterwards, when I finally managed to get Dan out of bed at half eleven, and then we basically sat in the kitchen and watched Storage Hunters for the rest of the day. Satnav and Josh left at about half six, and I made pizza for tea. Dan and I got into bed at nine to watch 500 Days Of Summer...
...and got out of bed again to go for a run at eleven after I couldn't stay still. Dan got sick of me twitching so took me outside to get rid of some of my energy (I've been buzzing for about two weeks now!!!) and then we finished the movie when we got back. On Sunday, we cuddled until William went to work, had lunch, and then he tied me up and teased me for a bit (kinky? Me? Never...). In the evening, we played Phase 10, and I got pissed off with William and did some angry cooking for a bit. Dan left me to calm down for a bit because he knows what I'm like when I'm annoyed, and we watched half of Pulp Fiction in bed. We would have finished it, but I was falling asleep halfway through. Of course, as soon as he turned the lights off, I was hyper again and we giggled together and chatted for ages. On Monday, I studied almost all day, and Dan made sure I concentrated (except when we went for a cuddle at about four and got distracted for an hour or so), and I learned all the kanji in Genki 1 and some of Genki 2. I cooked pasta that night, and we watched the first half of HP7 in bed. I was too tired to watch the second half, and actually fell asleep after he turned the light off (for once!). On Tuesday, Dan went into Norwich to clean his house, and I revised and cleaned for most of the day. He got back at six, and we watched Come Dine With Me and The Simpsons. We ordered take-out for tea (William wanted it) and went to bed for a bit more 'fun' (am I a bad person? Probably). Today, we got up at ten so I could tidy, and he took me out for lunch at Sakura (yakiniku restaurant in Norwich), before dropping me at the train station at half three. I'm back now, and worried about my exam tomorrow.
Dan and I have become more like best friends recently. We trust each other and, although we're romantic a lot of the time, we're also giggly and stupid and weird. We went to Clas Ohlson today, and I:
- hit him in the face with a tyre
- did an impression on a velociraptor in front of a complete stranger
- pretended to die in front of another complete stranger after he 'shot' me with a fly gun
- made a really awful innuendo by mistake that he won't let me forget
We're stupid and idiotic together, but it's so much fun that I just love it. I'm going to stay with him in Croxley on Monday, and I really can't wait!
Yours,
     Chessie
P.S. Our future children are apparently going to be called Doom, Sellotape, Effervescence and Lint. Oh, and I got him to watch 'Don't Tell The Bride' with me and now he wants a 'wedstival'.
P.P.S. Currently 54kg, which is better than last time I was home, because I was 55.2 then. So yay!
P.P.P.S. 'Kiss yo woman.'
