Dear Kitty,
I stayed at Dan's on Saturday night (again). I got to his at midday - he'd just woken up after ging back to sleep after work. I wasn't feeling too chirpy that day, so we had a nice hour-long cuddle until I felt better. We went shopping for stuff for Friday in the afternoon, and it was such a nice day that we decided to get ice cream on the way back - I can still have it (!), if only in small amounts. We made daal that evening, and watched Fantasia with Will while the lentils were cooking. Their friend Katie came over just after Dan and I had decided to watch Doctor Who, and we sat in the living room and talked for a few hours. Dan and I went to bed at about one, and woke up at ten the next day. I woke us both up at eight by mistake, when my phone went off and I screamed because I didn't know what it was - he was very sweet about it, though, but I think that's mostly because he's used to me having nightmares these days. He brought me a cup of tea, and we watched Doctor Who together - good story, tacky singing - and then made out again before he made us both breakfast. He let me play Skyrim again that afternoon (I'm still rubbish) and gave me a massage because my back hurt. We would have probably ended up making out again if I hadn't had to go and catch my train.
Yesterday, I went to Cecily's new house in Failsworth to make wedding stuff. I finished one of her cake toppers (she'd made Andrew as a bird by hand, and I had to stuff and finish it) and then made the other one (Cecily as a bird). We made what seems like acres of bunting as well, and I helped her unpack some of the stuff she'd moved over. She's been panicking recently; she thinks she looks really fat in her wedding dress. I've been telling her she looks stunning and thin, because she really does, but she won't believe me. She says it's because of Mum - Mum's told both of us that we're fat since we were tiny, and I'm really sad for Cecily because she is incredibly beautiful. I wish I looked like her, I really do. She's lost a stone and a half for the wedding, and I don't think I've ever seen her look this good.
Hector's decided to write to me once a month. We can't stay friends, and I know that, but this way I get to check that he's alright without having to worry too much. Tonight, I'm staying in the Palace Hotel with William, and I've got to Skype Dan from the room if there's internet. I'm going to have a nice long bath, I think, as well. In the meantime, I've got to finish my essay, and try not to get distracted by the thought of Dan arriving tomorrow! I can't wait to see him, even though it's only been three days since I last saw him. His house-leaving party's next weekend, and he's buying my ticket to go to Norwich for it - isn't that sweet of him? I'm looking forward to it - he's invited Satnav too!
Yours,
     Chessie (Maid of Honour)
