Dear Kitty,
well, it's certainly been a while since I last wrote. So, after I last wrote, I didn't go to Chester - mostly because I simply couldn't afford it, but also because we did 1.5 chapters that week (and this one too), so I really didn't have time. I couldn't be bothered to do much for most of last week because I felt utterly miserable until around Saturday evening - although I did see Will on Saturday afternoon, and I felt a bit better after that. I spent quite a lot of last week asking myself if I was sure Dan was the right guy for me, if we suited each other at all, and even if I was still in love with him (probably part of the reason why I was so sad, along with practically no sleep).
But I went to collect him at the station on Saturday, and he gave me the most enormous hug - and that made realise that of course I loved him and that I was an idiot for worrying about it. After we'd said hello, he handed me a bunch of flowers! I hadn't even noticed he'd been carrying them! When we got back to mine, we gave each other our Valentine's presents - he was very impressed with his handkerchiefs, and he'd done a drawing of us and then some paper art for me. Both of them are framed and sitting on my desk, and they make me very happy. On Saturday night, we watched 'Das Leben der anderen', and then we were both too tired to stay awake much longer than that. On Sunday, we went to church and watched another film (but I can't remember what). He took me out for dinner at Cornerhouse on Monday, and then we went to Odder with Michael and Stef. On Tuesday, we didn't really do much but make out and talk until I had to take him back to the station.
I've spent the rest of this week studying and at choir, and applying for various language courses and things. On Friday, Stef, Janie and Michael all came to mine, and we got incredibly drunk in my room - fantastic night! They didn't leave til about five, and we got told to shut up at least twice (even though we weren't being that loud). Last night, I went to Cecily's, and we made all the wedding favours and quite a few of the other bits she needs to get done. It's her secret hen party next Friday, and I'm looking forward to it. We're all off to a spa on Saturday, and then Dan comes back on Saturday afternoon. We've planned our holiday:
23rd - 27th March: camping
27th - 30th March: London
30th March: Freya's party
31st March: Fenny and Pop's
1st April: Norwich
He's coming to Cecily's wedding too - I have a +1 on my invitation. I'm really quite excited about it. Over the last two weeks, we've rung each other three times! Neither of us really likes phone calls, but he rang me the Sunday before last, and then I rang him on Friday, and he rang me yesterday. I was annoyed with him for most of yesterday because he took some MDMA on Friday night, but I don't suppose I've really any reason to have been. I just worry about him, and - well, I don't want anything bad to happen to him.
Yours,
Chessie
