Dear Kitty,
life has continued as normal since I last wrote. Sunny-chan and I spent most of Thursday together - Hitsuji-chan and I got the giggles really badly during our writing class and didn't get a lot done, and we're both very competitive with each other. I went over to Cecily's after my history lecture, and Gemma was there when I arrived. Andrew picked me up from halls, and we had a real DMC all the way there, talking about William, and that somehow turned into abstinence. Turns out Andrew and Cecily are too! I was very surprised. Speaking of which, I still need to tell Dan. I mean, we've talked about sex and things, and I know that he's done it, but he's told me that he doesn't want to make me uncomfortable and will only do what I want him to do. The weird thing is that I actually do want more stuff than usual with him, which hasn't happened before. But I've told him that there are some things I can't do - I can't bring myself to do them with guys at all (unless completely pissed) because of various reasons - but I haven't quite managed to tell him that I will not have sex unless I am married.
Gemma is having relationship troubles, so we spent a long time talking about that. Cecily made us tea, and then she helped me get my sewing machine sorted, so it works now! We sang hymns on the way back, which then turned into carols and then into Cecily's infamous carol 'And The Donkey Said To The Sheep'. I was in hysterics, and it put me in a really good mood. As for today? Well, I had class this morning, and then Sunny-chan and I had a seminar. We took our laptops today, so we spent a lot of the seminar reading Vogue and checking Facebook - unproductive, but much more interesting. We met Stef (Haru-chan) outside after, and I went to the SU with her. This afternoon, Dan suggested I watch 'American Beauty' when I asked for a film. It's slightly messed me up emotionally, in the same way that 'The Fault In Our Stars' and 'V For Vendetta' did. I don't regret it, though, because it was one of the best films I've ever seen. I did my hair and make-up like Jane's afterwards (when I'd stopped crying) and went to choir. I'm missing Stanford in A next week, but we're doing 'O For A Closer Walk' this weekend, and then I've a solo on the tenth! Tomorrow, I'm going to Chinatown and Afflecks with my class, and Sunday? Sunday's so far away!
I'm going home in eight days, and I've calmed down about meeting Dan's mum. I can't wait to see him again.
