Dear Kitty,
well, it's been quite a long time since I last wrote. I've been off the internet for the last ten or so days - I needed to get away from a few things and get my head straight, and oh! what news. I'll begin at the beginning:
I spent the 30th with Dan - he'd invited me to a party that night, and it was incredible. It was his friend Verity's birthday, and we spent the afternoon together as we always do. The party itself was a barbeque at her house, and it was really nice to meet so many of his friends. They were really friendly, and Dan and I spent the evening chatting and drinking and playing 'Never Have I Ever' in the corner. I got very drunk before we even left the house and basically ended up talking to people off my own bat! It was great, though, because all his friends are so nice. We went to Tao (a club) after that, and danced until two, when I had to get my taxi. Dan and I had a proper DMC outside the club, and told each other loads of stuff. He was totally understanding, which was good. We had a movie day on the Saturday - he showed me 'In Bruges', and I made him watch 'Singin' In The Rain', and then we watched Dr Who together. Sunday was boring, and then he came over for a PS2 challenge on Monday (turns out I am terrible at ALL games).
We met up again on Wednesday, and I helped him put his wardrobe together. We ended up, as we so often do, playing Scrabble in a pub, before
THURSDAY
THE AMAZING DAY
when we went to Sheringham and spent the day at the seaside. Oh, goodness, we must have looked terrible - chasing each other across the sand and skipping stones and holding hands in the sea. He took me to lunch in what must have been the most 'old-people' tea room in the whole town - simply because it matched my cardigan, but it was very cutesy and old-fashioned. We had ice cream and went to an art gallery/shop/thing, and played on the penny arcade - oh, and I bought a copy of 'Watchmen', because I haven't seen it yet, and it matches my copy of 'V For Vendetta'. I spent Friday getting Satnav's birthday present together, and then spent the day with Dan in The Playhouse on Saturday, before I got the train to Satnav's party. I saw Isla - she's well, and very happy to be with Mikey. I felt really awkward until I made friends with a few people and then spent all night talking about the internet and dancing with them. We slept in the marquee, and I left at ten the next day. Sunday was spent recuperating, and then Freya came over on Monday.
It was wonderful to see her - she looks so well. We spent all afternoon in The Playhouse (again) with Dan, just giggling and them trying to embarrass me. They liked each other, though, which was good. Freya and I spent the evening drinking caramel vodka and talking about various things, and it was good to be around someone that I have a 'mutual understanding' with. She left on Tuesday, and I can't wait to see her again. It took me two hours to get home on that day, and I spent the evening gaming. Dan and I went out on my first 'double-date' yesterday, with Josh and his girlfriend, who is also called Freya. She's lovely - into fashion and travelling, so we got on well. We all spent the afternoon in the arts centre, teasing each other and laughing. Dan and I went to Frank's afterwards and played Scrabble (we didn't have time to finish, but I would have won if we had). Mum and I got lots of my stuff for uni after, and then I tried to take Spratt for a walk (he's much too strong for me, though, so I basically ran after him for twenty minutes and laughed). Dan came over again today - I packed (well, I tried) and he did some work on a film he's doing the sound for. We were quite productive for a while, and then we just ended up playing Phase 10 and cards and flicking through my manga collection. Tomorrow, we're going to the castle, and then - who knows? There's a party tomorrow night, and I'm looking forward to that.
Oh - I came out to Mum on the way back from the Co-op tonight. Her reaction was 'ugh' and 'you'll grow out of it'. I told her because I'm about to leave home, so it doesn't matter too much. Bridget says that it's more important to be true to who I am, and I'm going to listen to her - she has, after all, had experience in this field. I can't wait to get to uni, because most of my family is so close-minded and either racist, homophobic, or both - except for Bridget and Cecily - and I can't wait to be around other people, and especially like the ones I've spent so much time around recently!
Dan and I have one more day (it's 4:3 to him, at the moment) and then we'll be long-distance. Ugh. I hate long-distance relationships - and I really like Dan.
Really really like.
Yours,
Chessie

You forgot to mention fucking over one of your closest friends. But that\'s cool. I haven\'t existed on here for a while anyway/ Enjoy university, enjoy life. Don\'t do anything I wouldn\'t do.
