Dear Kitty,
I'm back at home, after a fabulous weekend in Oundle. Not only that, but I've also got my laptop back, and I'm starting to get used to my hair. I got to Oundle on Friday afternoon, and spent the evening in the pub with Charlotte, Freya, Nick, Zak and Finbar. I went to Speech Day on Saturday and sat with Katie and Freya. The speeches were extremely dull, but it was wonderful to see everyone afterwards - Hutchy, and Mr Raudnitz, and Mrs Watt, as well as heaps of others. Freya, Steph, Charlotte and Nick came to mine that afternoon, and we had cava at the bottom of the garden - Katie turned up as well, and we realised that we hadn't been there together since Tom's leaving! We all went our separate ways after that, and I followed Freya up to her house and pretended to help while she got ready, but really I just stood around and looked awkward. She and Steph looked stunning, though - so grown up, and honestly beautiful. I wish I could've seen everyone else too, but I've seen the photos on Facebook. Nick and I spent the evening in The Ship, and had a proper (drunk) DMC for a good three hours. It was nice, though - I always forget that we get on when I don't see him.
Freya and I went to The Talbot for coffee and saw Harry King working there - he's grown up a lot, and has suddenly developed into somebody who is actually good-looking. We went back to The Ship that night, with Nick, and then I went back up to Freya's and we sat and talked in her kitchen. Mum and William took me home this morning, after they arrived for a BBQ yesterday, and we got my laptop back this afternoon. It's been wonderful to see everyone, and I can't wait until I can see them again.
Oh, happiness. But it's so odd to think that they've all just left school.
Yours,
      Chessie
P.S Nick greeted me with the words 'you look thin'. I've been feeling quite good since, but I haven't weighed myself since Friday. Hm.
