Dear Kitty,
I'm not quite sure how this is happening, but, for the last two days, I've been lighter at night than I was when I woke up. Oh, I'm not complaining at all - but it's certainly peculiar.
Bridget was here on Monday and Tuesday, and it was nice to see her. She's in Niger at the moment.
I've got to work on Saturday afternoon because I was let off at half six on Wednesday for a Candlemas service. It was a really nice service (Darke in F and 'When Mary To The Temple Went') and then we had a pancake party in the Parish Hall upstairs, and I spent that with Sophie and Jonathan and talked about university and NOT coming from Oxbridge. Candi, Sophie and I are the only people who haven't and Candi feels like a bit of minority because Sophie's only here until April, and I haven't been to university yet. Can't wait for it, though.
Also I've developed a liking for tea - which is good because it is FREEZING here.
Yours,
Chessie
