Dear Kitty,
the holidays are almost over. Charlotts came over to mine yesterday for New Year, and we had a wizard time. The afternoon was spent wandering around Norwich and causing havoc in all the shops (although we didn't get thrown out of anywhere). We got a lot of weird looks from people because we were, admittedly, behaving like prats - trying on the same dress, looking for Hello Kitty stuff in Claire's, being really loud etc. - but it was really fun. I'm slightly worried that we scared her last night because we were playing 'Name That Tune One Note At A Time' very loudly, and 'Charades' (also loudly), but she seemed to enjoy it. We stayed up chatting until about four, and I regretted it this morning. Actually, I've been exhausted all day, even though I went back to sleep when I got back, so I've basically been lying on the sofa for the last four hours.
Mum and Dad have been so nice to me this holiday. I came downstairs a moment ago with some washing, just as Mum said 'I don't want her to go!' and Dad said 'I don't want her to go either, but she probably should.' I well up every time I think about having to go back - and now there's only one day left...
I won't see my parents much for the next six months because I don't get holidays. They might be coming once, along with Fenny and Pop, but I think that might be it. I just need to count down the days, and keep myself busy until I can be at home again.
Yours,
       Francesca
P.S I managed to fit into two size six dresses yesterday. And they fitted! Also I might buy a corset. I found one with Charlotte and it was so damn pretty!
